Saint Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church
Renovation, Expansion, Interior Design and Space Planning
Atlanta, Georgia

Photo: Existing Entry
Rendering: New Entry and Domes

Perched atop a hill on Ponce de Leon Avenue near Fernbank, St. Elias will undergo a glorious transformation with a design started by the late Walter Kisil, AIA and completed by Edward L. Copeland, AIA. With a new entry and domes that reach up to the heavens, St. Elias will become a much more visible presence in this part of Atlanta - a venerable structure instilled with new life.

In addition to the new entrance and domes, the Social Hall will be increased to provide more space for family funtions and classrooms. A new kitchen, bathrooms, and elevator will be provided. The project will encompass over 4,955 square feet of new structure and 6,922 square feet of renovated area.
